Manoa’s Violeta Baguyo, janitor for the William S. Richardson School of Law, has received overwhelming praise from the law school’s faculty and staff and is well known for going above and beyond her responsibilities.

“She’s truly a professional who touches the lives of the entire law school community and whose efforts always leave a lasting impression for our visitors,” says Dean Aviam Soifer.

Baguyo is commended for her cheerful attitude, infectious smile and commitment to the success of the law school.

“Violeta’s personality contributes to our students learning by setting a valuable model of diligent service, respect, care and maturity which they constantly, albeit subconsciously most of the time, observe,” says Associate Professor Mark Levin. “In this regard, Violeta does not just keep our facility attractive and well maintained. Rather, she is helping to make our students better lawyers for the state and beyond.”
