HAS Annual Meeting

Each year the Hawaii Academy of Science holds its Annual Meeting at Treetops Restaurant in Manoa. Members, Executive Council Officers, HAS staff and anyone who is interested in the Academy's educational cause is more than welcome to be an active part of the meeting.

Annual Meeting Events

Full Buffet Dinner - Enjoy the buffet dinner & no-host bar by Treetops Restaurant.
Silent Auction - Communities & organizations from Hawaii donate various items that are up for auction! Some prizes include luxurious hotel getaways, restaurant gift passes, spa treatments & much more.
Academy Business Meeting - Current Executive Council members explain the fiscal plans for the HAS, upcoming events & more.
Recognition of Outgoing Officers - Officers whose terms are completed.
Introduction of Incoming Officers - Elected officers are introduced and welcomed to serve for the HAS.
Address of Retiring President - The Outgoing president puts together a small presentation.
