6 ACM STUDENT FILMS IN SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Six ACM student filmmakers have been invited to screen their films at the 10th Annual Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) June 16-24 as part of the ongoing Student Media Art (SMART) Exchange between ACM, Shanghai University, SIFF, and the Hawai'i International Film Festival. Our six globetrotters and their films are:

Jay Hubert - DAO
Ty Sanga - FOLLOW THE LEADER
Henry Mochida - CHOPSTICKS
Brian Makanoa - EVE
Russell Blanchard - A BIRTHDAY WITH GRANDPA

The students will be granted full delegate status, allowing them to mix with filmmakers, distributors and press from around the world. They will receive Takeyama Awards from the Roy and Hilda Takeyama Foundation Fund at ACM for their airfare. Shanghai University will provide rooms in its on-campus hotel. The SMART Exchange Program was developed by Asst. Prof. Anne Misawa.

She needs lots (100-200), so let all your friends know.
