To apply for admission, submit the following:

  • Completed System Admissions Application Form. (Fall priority deadline is February 1 and final deadline is May 1; Spring priority deadline is September 1 and final deadline is October 1).
  • Official college transcripts.
  • Application Fee - Applicants must submit with the application a nonrefundable application fee of $50.00 (certified check, money order, or international money order, for those applying from foreign countries). Do not send currency. The application and fee are processed only for the semester specified on the application.
  • Additional college/school requirements - most college/schools have additional admissions requirements. Please check their websites or contact them directly.
Complete the application carefully, following instructions in the booklet, How to Enroll in the University of Hawaii. If you are not a U.S. citizen, or if you are a non-native speaker of English, or if you have been educated in a country other than the U.S., refer to the special instructions and supplementary information form for foreign students.

Documents must be submitted directly by the institution attended or appropriate testing agency to the Admissions and Records Office and must be postmarked by the deadline. Unofficial, faxed, hand-carried, or student copies of academic documents will not be accepted. Because some programs have earlier deadlines or may fill their spaces early, you should apply well in advance of the deadline. The application and supporting documents become the property of the University and are not returned or available for distribution.
