To apply for admission,
submit the following:
- Completed
System Admissions Application Form. (Fall priority deadline is February
1 and final deadline is May 1; Spring priority deadline is September 1 and final deadline is October 1).
- Official
college transcripts.
- Application
Fee - Applicants must submit with the application a nonrefundable
application fee of $50.00 (certified check, money order, or
international money order, for those applying from foreign countries).
Do not send currency. The application and fee are processed
only for the semester specified on the application.
- Additional college/school requirements - most college/schools have additional admissions requirements. Please check their websites or contact them directly.
Complete the
application carefully, following instructions in the booklet, How
to Enroll in the University of Hawaii. If you are not a U.S.
citizen, or if you are a non-native speaker of English, or if you
have been educated in a country other than the U.S., refer to the
special instructions and supplementary information form for foreign
students.
Documents
must be submitted directly by the institution attended or appropriate
testing agency to the Admissions and Records Office and must be
postmarked by the deadline. Unofficial, faxed, hand-carried, or
student copies of academic documents will not be accepted. Because
some programs have earlier deadlines or may fill their spaces
early, you should apply well in advance of the deadline.
The application and supporting documents become the property of
the University and are not returned or available for distribution.
Definition of a Second-Degree Applicant:
- Already earned a recognized bachelor's or higher degree, and
- Seeking admission into a bachelor's degree program.
