This chapter is for those who are still on military active duty or have been discharged from active duty. In order to receive Chapter 30 benefits:

For students receiving Chapter 30 benefits for the first time, allow 6-8 weeks before receiving first payment. Students who have received benefits and are already in the VA database, allow 2-4 weeks before receiving payment.
