:: Dr. Lynn Silipigni Connaway Brownbag


Dr. Lynn Silipigni Connaway (Consulting Research Scientist, OCLC) will present "Ontologies and Cultures: Making Sense of Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration." This will include some information on her IMLS grant research with Brenda Dervin.

Dr. Connaway has an exciting career background in LIS education and research. She used to work for OCLC netLibrary and directed the LIS Program at the University of Denver. You can find more about her at http://www.oclc.org/research/staff/connaway.htm

She will be a guest speaker on Thursday, 3 February in Dr. Wertheimer's LIS 662 class (Kuykendall Hall, room 309). Everyone is welcome sit in on this event.

Note: All other activities were suspended this term due to the flood that occured on 2005 October 30.
