Key Statutory and Regulatory Budget Requirements: 

 

·         Cost per MSY for 2011-2012 = $13,300

·         Equipment costs must not exceed 10% of the total Corporation share.

·         Administrative costs must not exceed 5% of the total Corporation funds requested.

·         Must include $2,000 in Staff Travel for funds to travel to Corporation-sponsored meetings

·         Trainer/Consultant daily rates may not exceed $750

·         Member Service Gear should be budgeted under supplies.  Except for safety equipment, grantees may only charge the cost of member service gear to the federal if it includes the AmeriCorps logo.  (Please see Budget Section Instructions for more details)  Charge all other costs associated with member gear to the grantee share.

 

·         Under Other Operating Costs, include Criminal History background checks for all members and employees or other individuals who receive salary, education award, living allowance, or stipend or similar payment from the grant (federal or non-federal share).

 

·         Overall Match Requirements will increase up to 50% over a 10 year period following the schedule in the table below.
