Mr. David M. Sullivan, a Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) has served as the Human Resource Tech at the University of Hawaii since November 2000. He was invited to serve as a guest instructor at the HRT course at cadet command and was selected as an inspector on the former US Army Cadet Command Region Inspection Team.

Mr. Sullivan completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, Honolulu Campus in January 2000. His military education includes the Primary Leadership Course at Camp Jackson, Korea, the Battalion Training Management Systems Course at Fort Hood, Texas, the Basic Recruiters Course, Recruiting Station Commanders Course, and Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course at Fort Ben Harrison, Indiana, the Unit Equal Opportunity Course at Bamberg, Germany, the Admin Logistics Course at the Sergeant Majors Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas, the Pacific Warrior Orientation Course Schofield Bks, HI, Passport Application Acceptance Program Course, State Dept, Washington DC, He has completed the basic HRA course at US Army Cadet Command, and Family Member Training course Level I.

Master Sergeant (R) Sullivan's assignments while on Active duty include initial training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Military Personnel Office, Fort Meade, Maryland,; 2d Adjutant General Company, 2d Infantry Division, Camp Casey, Korea; Military Personnel Center- Korea, Tague, Korea;. III Corps, Fort Hood, TX; Green Bay West Recruiting Station, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rhinelander Recruiting Station, Rhinelander, Wisconsin; 2d Squadron, 2d Armored Cavalry Regiment, Bamberg, Germany and Saudi Arabia for Desert Shield/Storm. 65th Combat Engineer Battalion, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. His final assignment was the NCOIC Personnel Operations Branch, Military Personnel Division (MPD), Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Shafter, Hawaii until the MPD was realigned under the 556th Personnel Services Battalion, 25th Infantry Division in June of 1998. He retired from Active Duty on 1 March 1999.
