Alternate Entry Option


  • Available to juniors, requires 2 years left until graduation
  • Cadet progression is MSIII (Junior), Leader's Training Course (LTC), MSIV (Senior), Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC), commissioning
  • Cannot accelerate your advance courses or attend LTC and LDAC during the same year
  • Not eligible for scholarships


Placement Credit


Use experience as placement credit for the Army Basic Course (MSI and MSII)

Accelerated Cadet Commisioning Program


  • Available to juniors and sophomores
  • Cadet progression is ACCT Training, MSIII (Junior), Leader Development and Assessment Course, MSIV (Senior), commissioning
  • Available to highly qualified persons
  • For those who cannot get an allocation for the Leader's Training Course or miss it
  • Eligible for scholarship
  • Formal training taught by cadre and experienced MSIV cadets. ACCT Cadets are assigned a MSIV mentor to speed an facilitate integration
  • Eight critical training topics:
    • The structure and functioning of the ROTC battalion
    • Introduction to the Leader Development Program
    • Basic ethics, values, and treatment of other expectations
    • Army customs and courtesies
    • Wear of the uniform
    • Fundamentals of map reading and compass
    • Drill and ceremonies
    • Physical fitness training



Alignment Option Program


  • Can accelerate basic course in first year
  • Take junior army courses during second year
  • Attend LDAC before your junior year; may be delayed to after MSIV (Senior) year to facilitate graduation in four years

Blue to Green


Air Force and Navy Cadets may cross-commission into the Army upon release from Air Force and Navy under ongoing force shaping initiatives


Transfer Cadets: Air Force and Navy Cadets may be discharged upon acceptance into the Army program. Must meet all requirements and sign a contract prior to the start of their MSIV (Senior) year. All transfer cadets must attend the Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC)
