BA GRADUATION PORTFOLIO

All BA ART majors must enroll in ART 409 and submit a graduation portfolio as part of their degree requirements. Portfolios are due no later than the last day of instructions of the graduating semester, and should be submitted to the ART office.

A BA (Art History) Portfolio should include a resume, 3 to 5 course papers. All text documents should be in PDF formats and submitted in a CD, DVD or flashdrive.

A BA (Studio Art) Portfolio should include a resume, 10 to 12 digital images of artwork (produced primarily in 300-level course or above), an image inventory, and one course paper, preferably on a topic related to art and culture.

Portfolios should be in the form of a CD, DVD or flashdrive. All text documents should be in PDF formats. Digital Images should be formatted as individual JPEG files, or a PDF. DO NOT SUBMIT A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION. JPEGs should be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, at 72 ppi, and no larger than 3MB. Name the image files alphabetically or numerically to ensure they are reviewed in the desired order. Also include a PDF inventory of the included images, identifying name, title, date, medium, size, and other appropriate information. Time- or Web-Based Work, Video, Sound, and Animation can be submitted as Mac OS X compatible MOV, MPG, MP4, WMV, or AVI formats. Provide URLs for web-based works.
