As we venture further into the digital age, many artist have embraced photography’s technological leaps, incorporating these advancement into their creative process. Yet, there are those who feel the gap between the artistʻs hand and the photograph has become too wide. Locally Applied Solutions features photographers whose work rekindles the connection between the maker and the object. Inspired by the traditions of photography, these artists revamp the use of hand applied chemistry and test the boundaries of light sensitive emulsions to reevaluate the image making process in the digital age.
