RESEARCH AREAS – Photography
Phil Jung is a visiting professor from Boston Massachusetts. His artwork has been published in The Boston Globe, The Photo Review, Incandescent, and Kiblind Magazine in France. In 2009 he was a recipient of the TMC + Kodak Film Grant and received 6th place in the International Photo Review Competition. In 2011 he was chosen for Jen Beckman’s Hey Hot Shot award. Jung has participated in exhibitions at The Griffin Museum of Photography, Houston Center for Photography, Foley Gallery in NYC, and Black Box Gallery in Seattle. Selections of his work can be purchased through the Boston Drawing Project at Carroll and Sons Gallery in Boston. Phil is a strong believer in photographic education and has taught all levels of photography from Introductory to Advanced Critique.

Phil Jung has been the recipient of a 2013 Emerging Artist Award, Kodak International Film Grant, a HHS Award, and placed 6th in the International Photo Review Competition. His work has been exhibited at Houston Center for Photography, Black Box Gallery in Oregon, as well as at Foley Gallery and Jen Bekman Gallery in New York. Selections of his work will also be featured in the upcoming book from Mossless Press titled The United States: 2003 -2013.
