Undergraduate

The Electronic Arts Program functions as an interface between traditional media areas and new technologies which renders it primarily a service program for other majors in the department.  Emphasis is placed on experimental process and conceptually oriented inquiry while developing expertise with digital tools.  History and theory are covered within course content.

The BFA major sequence consists of three elemental Art and Technology Studios alphas; 301B – Imaging Systems, 301C – Sound, and 301D-Interactive Systems, a concluding special projects course, Art 401, and three related courses selected by the student through advising.

The MFA program functions in a similar way and can accommodate an expansive variety of experimental approaches and media crossovers and combinations.
