¶The goal of the Drawing and Painting program is to encourage students to develop their own orientation toward art and creativity. Throughout the program students are introduced to the technical, historical, and theoretical aspects of painting and drawing and are expected to complement this knowledge by conducting independent investigation in the technical, philosophical, psychological, cultural, and aesthetic qualities of art using painting and drawing as a medium.❦
