Linda Kane received her MFA from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa where she teaches all levels of studio classes in painting and drawing.  In her own work she finds inspiration in the natural environment of Hawai`i and how it is framed within sociological, political and cultural contexts.  She does large scale drawings and installations.  She exhibits locally, nationally and internationally in numerous one-person and group shows. Some of the collections she is in are the Persis Corp., First Hawaiian Bank, State Foundation on the Culture and Arts and The Honolulu Academy of Arts.
