MAMORU SATO
Professor

Mamoru Sato was born in El Paso, Texas and grew up in Holly, Colorado. He holds an MFA and BA from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Since 1965 he has been Professor of Art at the University of Hawai‘i. In his sculpture he interprets, explores, and visualizes the natural and man-made environment in a variety of materials.
