Born in 1972 in Albany New York, Terrence Lavin has a MFA, 1996, from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, and a BS, 1994, from Skidmore College, New York. He is an assistant professor at Southern Connecticut State University where he received a research grant, 2001. In 1998 he received a commission from Central Oregon Community College, Bend, Oregon.

The Vector Series attempts to address spatial relationships, pathogen transmission, articulating mechanisms, and astronomical instruments. They are tools designed to measure anomolous phenomenon.
