Giving

We are grateful to all forms of support to the department. From $25 checks, significant endowed scholarships, to named initiatives; all donations are spent on art education or to sustain the department's ability to contribute to the cultural life of Honolulu. Examples can be found on our WISH LIST below.

Contributions can be made via a check or online through the following University of Hawai‘i Foundation accounts:

$5,000 per guest / Intersections is our visiting artists/design/scholar program. Two to four guests are in residency per academic year for a 1-3 week duration where they lecture, teach, conduct workshops.

$50,000 / East–West Ceramics Collaboration is a summer event that occur once every five years. Over ten established international ceramic artists are invited to take part in a four week intensive summer workshop where they produce new work and interact with students and the community. Selected works from each artist are featured in an exhibition at the University Gallery.
