John Weidman was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin in 1943. He attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, 1962–1964; Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio, 1964–1965; and Harvard Medical School, Boston, 1970. His work is in collections throughout New England, Ohio, Indiana, Canada, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Latvia.
