Kaisu Koivisto was born in Seinajoki, Finland, 1962, and studied at the Kankaanpaa Institute of Fine Arts. In 1996 she was designated Young Artist of the Year and received the City of Pori Culture Award.

I am interested in all kinds of structures that surround us in a city: buildings, scaffolding, fences. This work is a three-dimensional drawing exploring the way in which we perceive space.
