Susan Wing was born in 1956 in Los Angeles and has a BA, 1978, and a MFA, 1980, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The concerns that I address in my work revolve around memory, time, and perception. By integrating the senses (the smell of spices or beeswax), I try to bring to my work a connection with the viewer.
