2014 Uehiro Graduate Philosophy Conference

March 14 – 16 at the Imin Center

With generous support from the Uehiro Foundation on Ethics in Education, the Philosophy Students’ Association has been able to organize the Uehiro Graduate Philosophy Conference to showcase exceptional work by graduate and advanced undergraduate students in comparative philosophy, broadly construed (not limited to East-West comparisons). Although the conferences welcome the submission of high quality papers in any area of philosophy, those with a comparative dimension are of particular interest. Each year the conference has at least one keynote speaker along with an additional special guest speaker, each presenting papers on issues in comparative philosophy.

2014 Keynote speakers: Dr. Peng Feng, Peking University and Dr. Joseph Tanke, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa
