The Power of Powerlessness: Alcoholics Anonymous and Herbert Fingarette
Fingarette attacks what he says is the Alcoholics Anonymous doctrine that alcoholism is the incurable disease of being powerless over alcohol. I explain why the attack is misconceived, because, among other things, it fails to appreciate the power of powerlessness.
Workshop: October 3 Wednesday, 3:00 pm, Sakamaki Hall D-302 (Conference Room)
Everyone is welcome to attend. For disability access information, please call 956-8649.
