Virtue in Patriotism
TOPIC: Patriotism as loyalty to a collective entity that mediates among, supports, and imprints the various relationships and institutions through which we are enabled to have flourishing lives. Although patriotic loyalty is beset by moral hazards and is vulnerable to exploitation, it remains within our power to question its demands and revise its terms.
