Open Class and Information Session on UHM Dance Degree

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Department of Theatre and Dance will hold a free, open class for dancers in the community who are interested in learning about the undergraduate dance degree programs at UHM.  The class will be held on Wednesday, April 30, at 5:30 p.m.  The New Dance Building on UHM’s upper campus is located off Maile Way, behind the Agricultural Engineering Institute, at the former location of the Food Sciences building.  Department faculty will conduct a ballet barre, teach modern dance phrases, and lead a dance improvisation; faculty will also provide information about the undergraduate degree programs in dance.  The session will last approximately one-and-a-half hours.  For more information, please contact Peggy Gaither Adams at (808) 956-3264.
