   Immigration Related Resources

Kajiyama's immigration-related resources include books, magazines, documents, and other ephemera on Japanese emigration. The collection includes Japanese government documents related to its emigration policies. After the Meiji Restoration, many Japanese people moved to Hawaii, the US mainland, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and other countries. Accordingly, the resources are categorized into three main areas: Hawaii, North America, and South America.
