Step 2. What anti-virus software package do you need?
For UH faculty, staff and students

Before you download the actual anti-virus software, please review the installation instructions.
Step 4. Download the VirusScan anti-virus software
At this point, you will need to
- Go to the main Download Page
- Enter all required information, and select the software you have chosen above.
- Click on the "Submit" button
- Save the file into an empty folder, e.g., create a folder called "Virusscan" on your desktop and save the file in there.
Go to the main Download Page (McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Edition)
Step 5. Install the VirusScan anti-virus software.
Make sure you run the file from a empty folder. Locate and double-click on the appropriate application (.EXE) file you downloaded in Step 4 to begin the installation process for your VirusScan software. Be sure to carefully follow all the installation instructions you viewed in Step 3.
Step 6. Run AutoUpdate
Run VirusScan's AutoUpdate feature to update the software with any new available DAT updates.
