On Start, flick left to the App list, tap the Settings icon, and then tap Email + accounts.

Tap Add an account and then choose Google.

Tap the Email address box, and then type your full email address (e.g. username@hawaii.edu).  Tap the Password box, and then type your email password.

Enter a display name, which is the name that you want displayed on sent emails.

Tap Sign in.
