McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Repost with Patch 4 UH Installer

The UH installer for McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 Repost with Patch 4, scan engine 5600 and McAfee Agent 4.8 patch 1 is available to the UH community. The anti-spyware module is integrated with VSE 8.8. The installer includes settings pre-configured for use at UH and supercedes prior releases of VSE 8.8 (without a patch; with patches 1, 2, or 3).

The UH installer is intended for Windows computers without any anti-virus program installed or for those upgrading from older versions of McAfee VSE (for computers with at least 1 GB RAM and a "faster" processor, i.e. computers not more than 2 years old). If you have an older Windows computer with less than 1 GB RAM, please purchase a new computer with at least 4 GB RAM or migrate to another anti-virus software that runs in less than 1 GB RAM.

ALL anti-virus programs (including McAfee VSE 8.8 with patches 1-3) should be uninstalled first before using the VSE 8.8 with Patch 4 UH installer. Please REBOOT after uninstalling your existing anti-virus program, before installing VSE 8.8 with Patch 4.
