Double-click on "My Computer" and right-click on the hard drive that you want to degfragment. Select "Properties" and then choose the "Tools" tab. Click on "Defragment Now." Then click "Defragment" when you are in the Disk Defragmenter program. (Note: You should close all programs and any programs that are running in the background such as anti-virus programs before you start defragmenting. Also, depending on the size of the hard drive, it may take quite a while before it finishes.)
