Clearing your web browser's cache

Firefox

  1. Go to the Tools menu. (In Windows Vista/Windows 7, click on the Firefox menu in the upper left corner of your browser window)
  2. Select Clear Recent History.... (In Windows Vista/Windows 7, Mac OS X, this option is under the History menu)
  3. Under Time range to clear select Everything and click Clear Now.

Internet Explorer 7

(Note: CTRL-F5, is a shortcut for 'refresh' and 'clear cache')

  1. Go to the Tools menu and click on Internet Options.
  2. Click on Delete.
  3. Click on Delete files.
  4. Click Yes.
  5. Click Close, then OK.

Internet Explorer 8

  1. Go to the Tools menu and click on Internet Options.
  2. Under the General tab, in the Browsing history section click on Delete....
  3. In the Delete Browser History window, uncheck "Preserve Favorites website data", and check "Temporary Internet Files and website files" then click on Delete.
  4. In the Internet Options window, click OK.

  1. Press Alt + X on your keyboard.
  2. Select Internet options from the menu.

  2. Select Internet options from the menu.
  3. Under the General tab, in the Browsing history section click on Delete....

  5. In the Internet Options window, click OK.

Safari

  1. Go to the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Click on Remove All Website Data...
  4. Click Remove Now when prompted.

Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, check Empty the cache.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select select beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.
