Word 2003 is a word processing application produced by Microsoft which provides a full set of features to assist in the creation of documents.

Minimum System Requirements

• A PC running Windows XP SP3 or later
• An Intel Pentium 233-MHz or faster processor (Pentium III recommended)
• 128 MB of RAM
• 150 MB of available hard disk space

ITS Supported Version

• Word 2003

ITS will end support for Microsoft Office 2003 on Nov. 1, 2013. ITS recommends that users migrate to Microsoft Office 2010. UH departments may purchase Office 2010 licenses from the ITS Site License Office. Go to http://www.hawaii.edu/sitelic for more information.

Microsoft ends support for Office 2003 on April 8, 2014 and will no longer provide security updates for this software.

Departments may purchase this software through the ITS Site License Office. Users can purchase this software for personal use from a computer software retailer that sells Microsoft Office products.
