Webroot Spy Sweeper 5.5 and higher includes a new email attachment shield feature. This feature causes conflicts with McAfee VirusScan Enterprise and may slow down your computer when sending email with attachments. To resolve the conflict, disable the email attachment shield in Spy Sweeper.
1. Right click on the Spy Sweeper icon in the system tray.
2. Click on Shields in the pop up menu.
3. Click on Email Attachments tab.
4. Uncheck "email attachments" under Email Attachments Shield.
5. Close Spy Sweeper.
Note: you will need to be logged in with an account with administrative privileges to make this change in Vista.
