NEW FEATURES & FUNCTIONALITY
 

CATALOG Catalog descriptions are now viewable by students on the web through Academic Services, provided these descriptions have been entered in Banner on SCADETL Course Text (next block three times after the key block).  After students do a Class Search for registration, they can click on the CRN to view the details of the class on the "Class Schedule Listing." From there, they can click on the "View Catalog Entry" link.
   
GOAMEDI The name of the user who last made an entry on the form and the activity date are now being captured and displayed.
   
SAAQUIK Previously, SAAQUIK records that were entered to create SGASTDN were irretrievable. Now SAAQUIK can be viewed and updated. Once registration has occurred, curriculum information must be changed via SFAREGS; however, other personal information may be updated on SAAQUIK.
   
SYLLABUS and OFFICE HOURS Faculty may enter the syllabus and the office hours for a class via Banner self-service by accessing the "Faculty Detail Schedule" page and clicking on "Add" Class Syllabus and "Add" Office Hours.
   
USER'S NAME AND ID Screens in self-service previously did not display the user's name.  In version 6x, the user's name, ID and term will be viewable and printable, e.g., a student who prints his/her schedule from the web will now have his/her name printed on the upper right hand corner.
