Who We Are
The University of Hawaii at Manoa Tobacco BEAT-IT website is part of the Alcohol and Other Drug Education Program, under the Health Promotion section of University Health Services. When the University of Hawaii decided to enact its smoking policy, cessation services were set up to help those who wished to quit smoking.

What We Do
We have found that students generally do not wish to come to our offices for individual or group counseling. Therefore, we have developed this website to offer other ways to quit. The site includes resources for you to quit on your own and suggestions for other online or in-person resources.
