Marine Biology Home

The Biology Program (BIOL) is a cooperative program whose faculty members are
from the Biology Program and the Departments of Botany; Cell and Molecular Biology;
Microbiology, Molecular BioSciences and BioEngineering; and Zoology.  It provides an
academic home to students who wish to pursue a broad training in biological sciences.

The Biology Program offers a BA Biology degree for pre-professional students and
a BSc degree in five specializations as well as a minor in Biology:

BSc Cell and Molecular Biology
BSc Ecology/Evolution/Conservation Biology
BSc Marine/Aquatic Biology
BSc Organismic Biology
BSc Biology
Biology Minor  
The biology curricula are designed to provide students with a strong background in the principles of biology developing intellectual foundations and the skills necessary to deal with the specific biological concerns of today and aid them in the pursuit of specialization with confidence.
Advising
Student advising is mandatory.  Prospective students should come to Dean 2 for advising immediately, so as to design a curriculum that satisfies program requirements.  Advising is available on a walk-in or appointment basis.  To book your advising session call
