HCC New Student Orientation (NSO)

Sign up now online or call 845-9498 Through New Student Orientation you will receive a comprehensive balance of academic and co-curricular information. This is a chance to have staff and faculty address your concerns about registration, academic advising, and the culture of our campus community. The event is also designed to encourage interaction with other incoming HCC students who may share the same experiences, questions and concerns that you have. Meet the faculty and staff who are here to help you and get your questions answered in a welcoming and open atmosphere. You will also get a chance to see the campus and locate your classrooms before the rush. New Student Orientation is for students who have never been to college anywhere, never been to HCC, not been to HCC in a while, parents, spouses, friends and others. What will I experience? The event is structured so that you have plenty of time for questions, breaks and mingling. When you check in you will get your meal ticket and a guide to the different information sessions that will be offered that day. You can choose which sessions to attend and when. Each session is a power-packed with relevant, useful information on topics that have been rated "Very Helpful" by students who attended previous Orientations.
