RecycleMania Launch / Saunders Birthday Bash!

February 11, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Manoa Campus, Hawaii Hall Lawn

The Geology Club is holding a RecycleMania kick-off event on Wed., Feb. 11 on the Hawaii Hall lawn, where we will be collecting recyclables from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (white paper, colored paper, newspaper, magazines, HI-5, and phonebooks for FREE; pay-by-the-item for electronics!)

We are also thrilled to be celebrating Sustainable Saunders' 2nd birthday with a BBQ from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, live entertainment by KTUH DJs, as well as games and events throughout the day.

Cake and refreshments are free for anyone who brings an HI-5 recyclable (BBQ lunch for purchase)! Also, we are giving away a free iPod Shuffle to whoever recycles the most by weight!

RecycleMania is an annual nationwide recycling competition between participating universities. The 2009 competition began on Jan. 18 and extends through March 28.
