Graduation Application Deadline

Please follow these instructions to apply for your Graduation Certificate or Degree. 1. Complete the applicable form. These forms are available at the Records counter (first floor of Building 6) or here in Portable Document Format (.pdf). There are 2 different forms so be sure you complete and submit the proper form. * Use the Application for Graduation form if you are applying for any of the following awards: o Associate of Applied Science (AAS) o Associate of Arts (AA) o Associate of Science (AS) o Certificate of Achievement (CA) o Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) * Use the Request for Certificate of Completion or Competence form if you are applying for any of the following awards: o Certificate of Completion o Certificate of Competence o Child Development Associate 2. Complete the HCC Graduation Survey. Please complete EITHER the online version OR the paper version (not both). If you complete the online version of the survey, please make a note of your confirmation code and tell it to the cashier when you submit your Graduation application and pay your fee. If you complete the paper version, please submit your completed survey to the cashier along with your Graduation application form and fee. 3. Submit the following 3 items at the Cashier’s Office located on the first floor of Building 6. * Application Form * $15 Graduation Application Fee (There are additional fees if you are applying for multiple Degrees or Certificates.) * HCC Graduation Survey (If you filled out and submitted the online version of the HCC Graduation Survey, please Print or Write your confirmation code down and inform the Cashier when paying.) Tips * Before submitting your completed Application Form at the Cashier’s Office, stop by the Records counter to have their staff look at your form to ensure it was completed properly. Improperly completed forms will delay the amount of time it takes to process your application. * Don’t forget to complete the HCC Graduation Survey! This information is used to make improvements to the various programs and services that HCC offers.
