"Finding Graduate Funding in Asian Studies"
This workshop is designed for graduate students applying for funding in the humanities and social sciences, including dissertation-level awards. What international, national, and UH funding sources are available, and what makes a proposal most effective? Asian Studies funding sources will be featured, but the workshop will help any students looking to improve their application-writing skills.
Dr. Shana J. Brown is an assistant professor in the Department of History, focusing on intellectual history, visual representation, and gender in modern China.
