Hawaii Interactive Television Service (HITS) is a digital interactive video service using MPEG2, over Internet Protocol (IP) that provides interactive video communication between the University of Hawaii campuses and outreach centers statewide.  Royd Liu, Video Operations Manager, will present an overview on HITS3 which will cover the new interactive technologies involved and reflect main differences between current MPEG2 over IP and the new H.323 transport.

This workshop will be held on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus in Kuykendall Hall room 204, broadcast to HITS locations, and on Manoa Cable Channel 67. Please register two days prior the workshop to ensure that all arrangements have been completed in order to facilitate viewing from your campus site.
