A Night in Bali with Gamelan Segara Madu

One of the great things about the Balinese arts is that there is a tradition of interactivity between the audience and performers. That is what we plan for this performance providing a taste of a temple celebration complete with gamelan musicians, dancers shadow puppetry and other elements. Sit on the stage, get up to take a closer look at something interesting and learn a bit more about this fascinating art form. Gamelan Segara Madu (lit. “The Sea of Honey”), is the UH-Manoa Balinese Gamelan Ensemble.
