Documentary Film Festival

Second Annual UNAFF-TFF at UHM, four documentaries from the 2005 United Nations Association Traveling Film Festival: 1) "Crapshoot: The Gamble with Our Wastes" - An exploration of sewage systems around the world and over time. 2) "Farming the Seas" - An overview of and debate over the positive and negative effects of the aquaculture industry. 3) "A Great Wonder: Lost Children of Sudan" - A story of three Sudanese orphans, a fraction of the 17,000 so-called "Lost Boys" of the Sudan civil war. 4) "Juvies" - A film of and by 12 juvenile offenders who will serve most, if not, all of their lives behind bars. A brief reception follows.
