Groundwater Bioremediation Seminar

"Modeling and Design of Groundwater Bioremediation Systems." In the first section of this presentation we will briefly review the design details of various bioremediation technologies and their limitations. In the second section we will focus on the monitored natural attenuation technology and illustrate the use of the three-dimensional, multi-species, reactive transport code RT3D for managing field-scale natural attenuation systems.
Details of a field application, which was developed based on the PCE/TCE natural attenuation data collected from the Dover Air Force Base Area-6 site, will also be discussed.
