Museum Lecture: Care of Indigenous/Native Items

"Insights on Caring For and Preserving Indigenous/Native Objects." Sherelyn Ogden, head of conservation at the Minnesota Historical Society will be addressing the care of indigenous/native items, which can present special challenges. Often it raises questions about the spiritual and cultural nature of the items. The speaker will discuss insights she gained about this in preparing a collections care book for American Indians.
