Safe Zone Training

This special system-wide session of the "Safe Zone Training" will help participants deepen their skills as allies for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. In addition, this training will provide tools for participants to build a more visible and cohesive network of support for LGBT people on their campus.
Participants in this session will receive posters and materials to take to their home campus to indicate that they are a designated "ally" for their institution, and are trained to help facilitate "Safe Zone Trainings" at their own UH campus. Please call LGBT Student Services at 956-9250 or e-mail camaronm@hawaii.edu to register for the training.
