Hawaii Bibliovision with Ian MacMillian

Hawaii Bibliovision (Olelo 55) proudly features Ian MacMillian reading from his recently published book, The Seven Orchids (Bamboo Ridge Press). Long-time Hawai'i resident and professor, Ian MacMillian was also honored at this reading for his distinguished record in fostering and inspiring young talent, many of whom are now critically-acclaimed authors.
Among his many books are Red Wind; Light and Power, winner of the Associated Writing Programs award; and Orbit of Darkness. His work has appeared in prestigious journals, such as Paris Review, and anthologies, such as O. Henry, Pushcart, and Best American Short Stories.
In 1992 Governor John Waihe`e presented him with the 1992 Hawai`i Award for Literature, the highest literary award in Hawai'i.
