Coral Spawning and Reef Romance
July 16, 7:00pm - 9:00pmWaikiki Aquarium
Each summer, rice corals in Hawai'i — and in our Edge of the Reef exhibit — spawn two to four days after the new moon. Celebrate this rite of reef renewal with the Waikiki Aquarium.
A class in coral biology will be followed by a tour of the exhibits, then an up-close view of the spawning. Refreshments will be served. Minimum age 14 years. $12 ($16 for non-members).
