Pan-Pacific Gamba Gathering

Manoa Campus, Orvis Auditorium and nearby classrooms

Festival on the viola da gamba, an ancient bowed guitar that is making a comeback.

Lunchtime (12:30 and/or 1:30 p.m.) and evening (7 p.m.) concerts, beginners’ classes, workshops, talks, slack-key gamba, family events (Saturday, August 4), a “petting zoo” of instruments to try, a community folk jam (all instruments welcome), and more.
