Convivio and American Seat Concert
August 1, 7:00pm - 9:00pmManoa Campus, Orvis Auditorium
Two concerts in one: (1) The Australian duo Convivio, joined by a guest from New Zealand, performs English viola da gamba pieces from the Jacobean era and (2) American Seat (also known as A Merrie Conceite) performs new pieces for the viol composed by Americans along with pieces from the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods edited by American composers. Part of the Pan-Pacific Gamba Gathering, July 31-August 4.
